Cancellation Policy

1. Rescheduling Your Charter

Yacht charter trips may be rescheduled if the request is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled charter date. Rescheduling is subject to yacht availability and approval by GoYacht. This policy applies to yacht charters only.

2. Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel rather than reschedule, the following charges apply based on how much notice is given before your scheduled charter time:

• More than 48 hours before departure: full refund, no charge.
• Within 48 hours but 24 hours or more before departure: 50% of the total booking value will be retained.
• Within 24 hours of the scheduled charter time: 100% of the booking value will be retained.

3. Cancelling Without Charge

You may cancel without incurring the cancellation charges above in the following circumstances:

• The Dubai Coast Guard issues a weather warning, or conditions are deemed unsafe for the charter to proceed.
• GoYacht is unable to provide an agreed service or essential component of the charter as confirmed at the time of booking.

4. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

All cancellation requests must be submitted to and confirmed by GoYacht before the scheduled charter departure time. Any cancellation submitted after the charter start time, or any no-show, will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

5. Charter Timing & Departure Policy

Guests are advised to arrive on time for their scheduled charter. Any delay in departure caused by the guests may result in a reduced charter duration, as the original end time must be maintained to comply with scheduling and operational requirements. No extension of the charter time will be guaranteed in such cases.

6. Cancellations by GoYacht

GoYacht reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking in circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions, mechanical issues, Dubai Coast Guard restrictions, or changes in maritime regulations that prevent the charter from proceeding safely. In the event of a cancellation initiated by GoYacht, all payments made by the charterer will be refunded in full. GoYacht will not be responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by the client as a result of the cancellation.

7. Add-On Activities

Add-on activities booked alongside your charter — such as desert safaris, hot air balloon flights, helicopter tours, jet skiing, water sports, and fishing trips — are coordinated through independent third-party operators and may carry their own separate cancellation terms, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

8. How to Request a Cancellation or Reschedule

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made directly with GoYacht, in writing where possible, so we can confirm the change and update your booking accordingly.
