These Terms & Conditions govern your yacht charter and any related activities booked with GoYacht ("we", "us", "our"), a yacht and boat rental company operating out of Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE. Please read them carefully before booking, as they set out important safety, conduct, and payment information for your journey.
1. Charter Inclusions
Your yacht charter includes a professional Captain and Crew, fuel, bottled water, ice, and soft drinks for the duration of your journey.
2. Important Information
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, GoYacht operates in accordance with Dubai Coast Guard regulations and UAE maritime safety requirements. Guests are expected to follow all instructions provided by the Captain and Crew throughout the charter.
- Guest Identification: all guests must carry an original, valid ID during the charter. Tourists must present their original passport, while UAE residents may provide their Emirates ID, passport, or UAE driving licence. Failure to provide valid identification may result in penalties of up to AED 1,500 per person, charged to the guest as outlined in the damage waiver agreement.
- Compliance with Maritime Regulations: any fines, penalties, or additional charges resulting from violations of Dubai Coast Guard regulations, guest misconduct, or failure to follow crew instructions are the responsibility of the guest(s) involved.
- Responsible Alcohol Consumption: guests are welcome to enjoy beverages onboard; however, excessive alcohol consumption, disruptive behaviour, or actions that endanger others may result in additional charges or immediate termination of the charter without refund.
- Safety Equipment: life jackets must be worn whenever required by the Dubai Coast Guard, during weather-related safety alerts, or whenever instructed by the Captain and Crew.
- Environmental Responsibility: throwing waste or litter into the sea is strictly prohibited and may result in legal penalties.
- Swimming Guidelines: for guest safety and in accordance with Coast Guard regulations, swimming is not permitted after sunset or more than three metres away from the yacht.
- Safe Use of the Yacht: jumping from the yacht while underway or during anchorage is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply may result in the charter being stopped immediately.
- Water Activities: the use of jet skis or third-party water toys during the charter is not permitted unless arranged through GoYacht, to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and that all activities are conducted through approved partners.
3. Number of Guests
The final number of guests must be confirmed at least one day prior to the charter. The number of guests onboard cannot exceed the confirmed capacity on the day of departure, due to safety regulations and vessel limitations.
4. Catering Policy
- Catering requirements must be confirmed at least one day prior to the scheduled charter. Any cancellations or changes made after the confirmation deadline remain fully chargeable.
- Guests are not permitted to bring their own catering or prepared meals onboard.
- Guests who prefer to arrange their own food may bring only dry items such as pizza, sandwiches, crisps, and snacks, and are responsible for providing their own disposable plates, cutlery, and serving items.
5. Children Policy
- Our Captain and Crew are responsible for the safe operation and navigation of the yacht and are not available to supervise or provide childcare. Parents or guardians remain fully responsible for the safety and supervision of children throughout the charter.
- In accordance with Dubai Coast Guard safety regulations, children under 10 years old are required to wear a life jacket while on deck and during any water activities, regardless of their swimming ability.
- Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while onboard.
- Infants under 1 year old are permitted onboard only where suitable safety arrangements can be ensured.
6. Attire
- Guests are required to remove footwear before boarding the yacht, to help maintain cleanliness and protect the vessel's interior.
- Comfortable, casual clothing suitable for a marine environment is recommended for a pleasant experience throughout the charter.
7. Damage Waiver & Liabilities
- Upon arrival at the marina, guests must provide a pre-authorisation of AED 2,000 on a valid credit card as a security deposit. If a credit card pre-authorisation is not available, a cash deposit may be accepted and returned at the end of the charter, provided there are no outstanding charges or damages.
- The security deposit may be used to cover damages to the yacht, additional services, supplementary packages, excessive cleaning requirements, or any other charges incurred during the charter.
- In the event of damage caused by the client or their guests, GoYacht will notify the client in writing within 24 hours of identifying the damage. An official assessment and quotation from an authorised contractor will be obtained for the repair or replacement required, and the confirmed cost will be charged to the payment method provided for the booking. All repair assessments and quotations are considered final.
- Any additional cleaning required due to misuse, excessive mess, or conditions beyond normal charter use is subject to additional charges.
- Any fines, penalties, or charges imposed by local marine authorities due to actions, negligence, or failure to comply with yacht policies by the charterer or their guests are the responsibility of the charterer and may be deducted from the security deposit.
- GoYacht accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, personal injury, illness, accident, or death occurring during the charter, except where required by applicable law.
- Pets or animals of any kind are not permitted onboard.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the yacht. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the charter without refund, and additional cleaning charges may apply.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

GoYacht reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking in circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions, mechanical issues, Dubai Coast Guard restrictions, or changes in maritime regulations that prevent the charter from proceeding safely. In such cases, all payments made by the charterer will be refunded in full, and GoYacht will not be responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by the client as a result of the cancellation.
9. Charter Timing & Departure Policy
Guests are advised to arrive on time for their scheduled charter. Any delay in departure caused by the guests may result in a reduced charter duration, as the original end time must be maintained to comply with scheduling and operational requirements. No extension of the charter time will be guaranteed in such cases.
10. Captain & Crew Authority
GoYacht only operates with qualified and experienced Captains and Crew, who are responsible for the safe operation and management of every charter. As the experts in navigating Dubai's waters, the Captain's instructions and safety decisions are final and must be respected by all guests onboard. Any abusive, threatening, disruptive, or reckless behaviour that compromises the safety, comfort, or experience of others may result in the immediate termination of the charter without a refund, and further legal action may be taken where applicable.
11. Online Payment Terms
- GoYacht accepts online payments made by Visa and Mastercard in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED).
- GoYacht does not provide services to individuals, organisations, or entities located in countries or regions subject to OFAC sanctions or applicable international restrictions.
- Customers must be at least 18 years old to register, make bookings, or complete transactions through the website. Minors are not permitted to use the website for purchases or bookings.
- GoYacht reserves the right to charge the cardholder for any damages, penalties, additional services, or violations of these Terms & Conditions associated with the booking.
12. Third-Party Activities
GoYacht may help arrange add-on activities such as desert safaris, hot air balloon flights, helicopter tours, jet skiing, water sports, and fishing trips through trusted third-party operators. These activities are subject to the operator's own terms, availability, and safety requirements, in addition to those set out in this document.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from or relating to a charter booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai.
14. Changes to These Terms
GoYacht may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, services, or applicable law. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
